Professional Background
Dr. Saleh completed his Internal Medicine training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson, and his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography.After completing his fellowship in 2009, Dr. Saleh entered private practice and held attending privileges at five major university medical centers in the NY/NJ region. He performed and interpreted various cardiac diagnostic tests, including stress tests, echocardiograms, EKGs, AIs, Holter studies, and both invasive and non-interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Dr. Saleh has also been actively involved in teaching and training medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Saleh has served as the director of Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology labs at multiple centers. He achieved Accreditation from The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission by establishing laboratory standards and regulations in line with nationally accepted practice guidelines. He developed and implemented imaging protocols that complied with the Appropriate Use Criteria set by national governing boards.
Moreover, Dr. Saleh created standardized reporting protocols, safety regulations, peer review protocols, and confidentiality standards. He was also responsible for quality improvement measures for both divisions.
